Project Calendar - Hands On Projects are Partner Agency projects which are posted on HON's web-based monthly project calendar. Hands On Nashville volunteers can sign up to participate in your agency's project through HON's website. Volunteers are managed by HON Project Leaders and, in cooperation with your agency representative, help to fulfill your agency needs.
Volunteer Classifieds - Volunteer placements requiring an ongoing commitment, training and/or a background check can be posted on HON's website by your agency representative. Volunteers interested in the volunteer opportunity will contact your agency directly to engage with you in service. HON connected more than 20,000 volunteers through referrals in 2009.

Individuals receive board training through CNM and referral to nonprofits through Hands On Nashville. OnBoard volunteers will be referred to Partner Agencies for board positions based on their interests, skills, and availability.
Priority Referrals - Partner Agencies are given first priority as a source for developing customized service projects for our corporate clients, and for service learning opportunities for enthusiastic youth groups.

"HON allows us to diversify and enrich our volunteer programs by offering outreach and exposure to willing Nashville-area volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and ages. No other volunteer bank allows us to reach a dynamic pool of willing volunteers right here in the Nashville area."
~ Amy Pinkston, Volunteer Programs Manager, Nashville Zoo
"We would not have been able to produce emergency food boxes in this quantity without Hands On Nashville. Hands On Nashville and its volunteers are remarkable community resources."
~ Matthew Bourlakas, Chief Operation Officer, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee
"Hands On Nashville has gone above and beyond to meet our volunteer needs! We are so grateful for the attention that the staff has shown us and for the workshops that we have attended. ~ Tara Gower, Administrative Assistant, House of Mercy
"Refugee Services deeply appreciates the relationship we have established with HON. Our partnership with them is critical in allowing us to tap into the huge number of Nashville individuals and groups who are seeking meaningful hands-on volunteer roles. We have been "found" by many well qualified volunteers through HON services and consider them a vital partner in making (and keeping) our volunteer program healthy and viable."
