To be successful, partnerships with volunteers must be part of your organization’s overall strategy. Understanding how to best recruit, manage, and retain these volunteers is critical to your organization’s ability to effectively use these volunteers’ skills. Hands On Nashville offers additional training tools to help you develop best practices on volunteer management that work for your unique agency’s needs.  These services are not part of our standard Partner Agency Membership, but are offered as needed at an additional fee.

Nonprofit Consulting
Hands On Nashville’s consulting team can assess agencies’ volunteer needs and design and implement volunteer management programs to meet your goals.  This hourly fee-based service is based on the depth of program development required. Examples of what Hands On Nashville can provide include:

Craft volunteer job descriptions for your agency’s specific needs.

Design volunteer management documents (recruitment, evaluation, recognition, etc) to ensure the longevity of your volunteer program

Develop training procedures for volunteers in specific roles.

Provide staff training to create a philosophy of staff/volunteer teamwork.

Consulting is provided at a rate of $50/hour to Partner Agencies and $100/hour to non-members.

Nonprofit Volunteer Management
Hands On Nashville can plan, implement, and evaluate volunteer participation in diverse nonprofit events, ranging from walk-a-thons to food drives. Based on a nonprofit’s individual needs, Hands On Nashville can provide a wide range of services, including a completely turnkey volunteer management solution – from project planning and supply procurement to volunteer communication and evaluation. Hands On Nashville will provide a fee estimate based on the value of staff time devoted to achieving your necessary goals.
